James Dale McCarty, 89, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Brookville, IN passed away January 7, 2018.  He was born in Franklin County, In to the late, John W. and Beulah V. (Downey) McCarty.  James was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Connersville, IN and had been a member of the First Christian Church of Brookville and the Moose Lodge in Kissimmee, FL, serving on the Ritual Team.  James enjoyed golf and traveling and is survived by his loving wife, Nadia; children, Katheryn McCarty of North Manchester, IN and Michael McCarty and his wife Toni of Marine City, MI; step-children, Amy Perdue of Palm Beach, FL and Tracy Webb of Inverness, FL; grandchildren, Steven Brown, Keith Brown, Autumn Perdue and several Great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael McCarty, Jr.  He will be interred privately at Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville, IN.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, 11250 SW 93rd Ct.
