Obituary

Jim was born in San Diego California at the Naval Medical Center to John and Garnet "Pat" McFarland on July 30, 1944. He met his great love Beverly at Dayton Beach Florida on July 3, 1985. They were married on December 26, 1986 and had 38 precious years together.
Those who will miss him include his daughter Denise and her mother Linda. A grandson Christian and a granddaughter Jessica.  He is also survived by brothers Jack (Marie) McFarland, Dave (Kathy) McFarland and many other family members including Brian,Heather and Kennedy McFarland, Amanda and Makenzie Morris, Julie and Steve Totten, Paul, Tiffany, Paul and Raelyn Owens, Jason, Candace and Mason Portz and Emma and Eli Peterson and many loving Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
He has friends all over this Country he made while working in the towing industry that he loved so much. He spent most of his career as a Manufacturers Rep for Miller Industries in Chattanooga and ended his career with Crouch's Wrecker and Equipment Sales in Kingston Springs, Tn.
After retirement he and Beverly moved to his beloved Florida in 2015.
They became members of Seven Rivers Church in 2017. They also joined The Christian Motorcyclist Association River Riders Chapter. Jim loved his motorcycles and antique cars.
Jim became a Christian while on a missions trip to Abidjan, Africa. After returning from that trip Jim was a changed man. A better man in love with the Lord. He and Bev traveled to many countries around the world on Missions Trips doing work for the Lord.
Jim was so looking forward to going home and seeing Jesus face.
Now he is there in all of its glory. Until the Lord takes us home or He returns, you will be missed and loved dear Jim.
Celebration Of Life Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday February 22, 2025 at Seven Rivers Church, Lecanto, Florida.  Officiating will be Pastor Adams Jones and David VanderKlay.
