James
Migliore
December 21, 1949 – February 1, 2020
James Migliore (Jim) of Mount Dora, FL passed on peacefully on February 1, 2020 after a seven-month long fight with lung and subsequently bone cancer. He was born on December 21, 1949 in Hartford Connecticut and grew up in Farmington Connecticut. Angela is Jim's loving and devoted wife and best friend. His brother Richard is the only remaining immediate family member. Jim and Angela were married in 1975 and remained devoted to each other for almost 45 years. They moved to Florida 11 years ago for Jim to take a job at Bank of New York Mellon in Orlando. For the past 11 years, Jim remained an integral part of the Bank's Operations Department. He was devoted to his staff and they have described him as a great mentor, teacher, leader and overall a wonderful person. His working family meant a great deal to him both professionally and personally.
Jim was an avid and passionate photographer specializing in Photoshop Compositing and a member of an on-line group of photographers from all over the world whom he called his Scavenger Hunt family.
Jim revived Angela's interest in photography and they both made long, lasting connections with this special, unique and creative family. Being a part of the community meant the world to him. Jim left an impact on the Group with his art and his ability to create great personal connections. They will remember Jim as a beautiful, warm, fun, friendly upbeat man with a huge heart. Jim also loved to play golf throughout his lifetime.
Angela will remember Jim as her devoted, patient, nurturing, loving and kind husband and best friend.
Always patient, honest, loyal, demonstrating unconditional love to her and to everyone he met. Jim was sensitive but strong in his convictions and fair-minded and he always stood up for anyone and anything he strongly believed in. Jim will be desperately missed but he will be in all of our memories and forever in our hearts.
Near to the end of his life, he was in the great care of the most loving Vitas Hospice Care Nurses in Lake County and Angela will be forever grateful for their kindness, strength, love and devotion to him and all their hospice patients. Therefore, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
