On August 28th, at the age of 80, James E. Moore passed away with his family by his bedside in Edgewater Florida. Mr. Moore was born and raised in Etna, PA and lived in Shaler Township, PA. He was a graduate of North Catholic H.S. and Robert Morris Univ. He served in US Army and was stationed in Alaska and helped the area recover from the great earthquake of 1964. Mr. Moore worked at the H.J Heinz Co. for 25 years and subsequently moved to Florida after his retirement. He was a loving husband and beautiful father who enjoyed his days with his family and loved to take long walks, read and study history. He is survived by his wife Dora his children Stephen of Pittsburgh, PA and Carol of Groton, MA, along with their spouses Kelly Flynn and Mike Appel. Services are not planned at this time and any donations to the Parkinson's Foundation can be made in his honor.
