James Ross Blundell Turner,72, of Port Orange, FL passed away on September 27, 2017. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 2 pm at Central Baptist Church, 152 Fairview Ave, Daytona Beach, FL.  Pastor Sonny Gallman will be officiating.  JR was born in London, England on April 19, 1945. He graduated from Mainland High School and continued on to receive an Associate of Arts from Daytona Beach Community College.  He continued on to serve his country as a member of the Coast Guard.  He received an honorable discharge and then worked as a service planner for Florida Power and Light after his service with the Coast Guard.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding, target shooting, and old western movies.  He was active member of Central Baptist Church. James was married to Donna L. Williamson for 19 years.  He is survived by Donna Turner, his sons James and Michael, his daughters-in-law Cynthia and Leah, his grandchildren Jimmy, Christopher, Kevin, Steven, Brendan,  Brynna, and Teresa, and other family and friends. James is preceded in death by his father Ross Turner, his mother Joan Turner, and his brother Robert Turner . In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Central Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.
