James R Young, New Smyrna Beach FL passed away on December 14, 2015. He was the son of Laura Lamb and Bing Wong. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years Leah Deborah Young. He was the father to eight children James (Dori) Young, John (Cheryl) Young, Michelle Young, Robert Young, Kimberly (Donald) Lake, Daniel (Andrea Gardner) Young, Jeffrey (Elizabeth Taylor) Young, Jacqueline (Eric Stell) Young and 26 grandchildren as well as many more loved ones and friends.

James was a very hard worker who worked as a taxi driver at night to put himself through school, He studied telecommunications and eventually became a very skilled and well respected telephome lineman. He worked for the company for nearly three decades before retiring to Florida in 2002 with his wife Leah.

James was a wonderful and generous person who would do anything for anyone. He also had a fondness for playing pool and poker with friends. James will be deeply missed by many.
