James Lee Rowland a/k/a Jimmy or Jim, 62 years old of Casselberry, Florida, originally from Manassas, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Mr. Rowland was born August 1, 1960 in Arlington, Virginia, son of the late Robert Gene Rowland, and Betty Lois Bunch Huber. Along with his parents, Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Carl Gene Rowland and youngest brother, David Kyle Rowland.

Surviving is his sister-in-law, Joyce Easter, of Strasburg, Virginia, and his brother, Robert, Dean Rowland, and wife, Debbie of Manassas, Virginia. And one sister, Sherrie Jeanette VanBuren, and husband, Mark of Bealeton, Virginia.

Also, surviving is his LSD family. Lakeshore Dr., Florida – Rudy and Shannon Rowland; Gabriel and Sarah Herrera Jr.; and Dan and Kim Wells. Thank you for loving him and for letting James be James, for giving him a place to call home, and family & friends that truly cared and loved him.

He retired from a lifelong career in the carnival industry and as a caretaker in his later years.

James Lee lived life on his own terms. Unlike most of us, he didn't own materialistic things. He left nothing behind for his family members to divide or even fight over, but what he did leave behind was immeasurable. James was kind, honest, trustworthy, and reliable and he had a huge, generous heart and a real love for life and for family and friends, (even if he didn't get it in return sometimes) he had a genuine, caring nature for everyone whose life he touched. His unique soul leaves an unheard of etching of the true meaning of love in our hearts. James, thank you for all the wonderful memories and good times you showed us all, you will forever be missed.

There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
