James "Nick" Russell Summerlin, III

January 22, 1960 – January 27, 2024

Nick passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a long illness.  He is survived by his wife Laurie; son Jeremy (Roxanna); daughter Breanna; grandchildren Layla, Vera, Issac, and Anden; Mom and Dad, Janice and Paul Mays; siblings Lisa (Matt) Foley, Whitney Hamilton, and PJ Mays; Aunt Trava Murphy; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Rodney and Tracy Porter.   Nick was preceded in death by his father James Russell Summerlin II.

Nick was in the US Navy and served his time in Guam.  He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Amvets.  Nick was a master plumber, retiring from Meeks Plumbing.

He enjoyed traveling, singing Karaoke, working on his jeeps and trucks, being on the water in his boat, but most important to him was spending time with his family.
