James Sheedy died on May 26, 2017. Jim was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, the oldest son of the late Sophie and James Sheedy, brother to Michael and Martin.  Jim lived most of his life in Wappingers Falls, NY and always enjoyed a round of golf, a day of fishing, a good meal, a good joke, and above all, time with family and friends. In 2007, Jim retired as Vice President from Bottini Fuel and later moved to Ormond Beach, FL.

Jim leaves behind his wife of nearly 55 years, Paula, two children Stephen and Kristine, their spouses Trish and Peter, and three grandchildren, Samantha, Aiden, and Connor.  He is also survived by his brother Marty and sister-in-law Felicia, as well as several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 8, 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 89 St. Mary's Place, Bunnell, FL 32110, followed by a gathering at Tavern by the Green at Halifax Plantation, 3400 Clubhouse Drive, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
