James R. Letner, Sr., a dedicated electrician and veteran, passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 75.  He was the beloved husband of the late Susan M. Letner, and the cherished son of Harold Ray Letner and Verna Allie (Holland) Letner.

James was born in Dent County, Missouri, and his life was marked by service and devotion.  James proudly served in both the Air Force and Army for over 10 years, showcasing his unwavering commitment to his country.  He was a devoted member of the Baptist faith, and an active participant in various organizations, including AmVets, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #4335.

James is survived by his children, James R. Letner, Jr. of FL, Jerry R. Letner of MO, Sheila Marie Letner Feser of IA, Joe R. Letner of MO; Brothers and Sisters, Ricky Dean Letner of AZ, Renda Jo Letner Stout of MO, Patsy Sue Letner (Wade) of MO, Harold Lee Letner of MO, Linda Belle Letner Schafer of MO, Carol Yvonne Noel of MO; his Significant Other, Katie Pearson of FL; and 10 grand-children.  He was predeceased by his parents, Harold, and Verna Letner; his wife, Sue M. Letner; and his sister, Camille Olive Letner.
