James "Mike" Thompson, 64 of Apopka passed away June 1, 2015 at Florida Hospital Orlando. James was a retired Iron Worker, who loved being with his family and friends. He owned and operated J.M. Thompson Construction INC. in Apopka. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Pamela Thompson, three sons, Seth Lee Thompson and his wife April Marie, Gerald Wayne Thompson and his wife Rebecca of Decatur, AL, James Brian Thompson, Four grandchildren Ethan Michael Thompson, Jordan Lee Thompson, Rain Jewel-Ann Thompson, Mace Thompson, one brother Myron D. Thompson and his wife Freda of Hartselle, AL. A Celebration of Life will be held at Northside Baptist Church 413 West Welch Road Apopka, Florida. 32712 Saturday, June 13th, at 11:00 am.
