James F. Zizak, 85 of Edgewater died peacefully Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  Jim was born in Binghamton, NY on July 19, 1938 to the late Michael and Anna Zizak.  After high school he joined the Marines and attend US Naval School of Electronic Technicians.  He was discharged as a Corporal.  Jim met and married Dolores and they were married for 31 years until her death.  Jim was a carpenter by trade and was perfectionist on all of his projects.  He is survived by his sister, Helen Ballus of Johnson City, NY; step-sons, John Thompson of Binghamton, NY and Ronald Thompson of Port Orange, FL; step-daughters, Anna Stilloe-Weide of New Smyrna Beach and Linda Thompson of Daytona Beach, FL; two grandchildren,  two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private services will be held by the family.
