Jane Helen Angell (Skapiak), "Jeanie," formerly of Baldwinsville, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 71 years of age.

Jane was born on September 24, 1953, in Jamaica, Long Island, NY, the daughter of Thomas and Jane Skapiak. She graduated from C.W. Baker High School in 1971 and worked at Bristol Myers for the majority of her career. Jane lived most of her life in Syracuse, New York, before moving to Fruitland Park, Florida, in 2019.

Jane loved rooting for the Syracuse Men's Basketball and Football teams. When she moved to Florida, she made it a point to find a location to cheer on her Orangemen. Jane was an avid painter, making intricate ornaments and crafts. She loved her family and friends dearly and was always there for them if they needed her.

She is survived by her close cousin Aidan Donaghey of Syracuse, NY; niece Deanna J. Skapiak of Dayton, OH; great-niece Shelby Andzik; and great-nephew Logan Skapiak.

A celebration of Jane's life will take place on Sunday, May 4, at the Silver Street Event Center, located at 108 Silver Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057. The memorial will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
