COMBS, Jane Emily Mary (Brion), age 71 passed away on December 13, 2024 and was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy (High School) in Miami Florida; MTSU (Bachelor's Degree) in Murfreesboro Tennessee and ETSU (Master's Degree) in Johnson City, Tennessee. She married Joseph L Combs in 1973 and raised her three children in Mt Juliet, Tennessee where she attended St. Stephen's Catholic Community and made many lifelong friends. After receiving her Master's Degree, she moved to East Tennessee and pursued her dream as an elementary school librarian. At retirement, she moved to Tampa, Florida where she spent her final years with her husband.

Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Emily Brion, and her three brothers Paul, Jeff and Leslie; she is survived by her husband of 51 years Joseph L Combs; daughter Julia Peterson (Jason) and their two children Jayde and Jaxon; daughter Jennifer Wilson (Jim) and their two children James and Jessie; Joe Combs (Elizabeth) and their five children Joe, Kielei, Austin, Logan and Kinsley; sisters Pam Roth, Kathy Bridges and Terri Nales; brothers Harold Brion and Harvy Brion, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Services will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Community in Old Hickory, Tennessee on December 28, 2024. Visitation will be at 10:30am with an 11:00am Mass following.
