Janet (Mongeau) Bruno – of Inverness, FL and formally Wrentham and Walpole, MA passed peacefully away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Muriel Mongeau. She was a graduate of Walpole High School, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Art and a Masters in Art Education from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Janet taught Art Education for over three decades, first in Walpole and then in the Franklin Public Schools. Upon moving to Florida, she established a social services firm working with the court system to protect children and reunite families. After retiring she continued to be involved in many community groups in the Inverness area.

Janet is survived by her children, Raymond Procaccini and his wife Judi Tingley of Groveland, Fl, Laura Procaccini Romero and her husband Carlos of Reading, MA, her grandchildren, Felicia Moriarty, Ian Moriarty, Selina Cox and her husband Anthony, Sage Procaccini, Justin Procaccini, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Amelio Bruno and her sister Martha Bowker.

A celebration of life and burial will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
