Janet Donnelly Petrycki, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home in The Villages on September 25, 2024, after a long battle with ALS/PLS. She was surrounded by her close family at her bedside. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, Nicholas, her 2 children Stephanie and Adam, their spouses Miranda Petrycki and Veronica Espinosa, and Nick's brothers and sister-in-law Myron and Josephine Paetrycki.

Born on October 4, 1946, in New Britain, CT, she was the only child of Florence and George Donnelly. She graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene with her two best friends, Georgia Worsley and Alyson Taub, and worked for many years as a dental hygienist in CT before retiring to Florida.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, and friend who had an infectious laugh (especially after 1-2 "martooni's"). She has a passion for music and dance, participating in many ballroom dance competitions and recitals over the years. She also loved to travel, especially on ocean cruises. She treasured going to her children's band concerts and watching her daughter's multiple sporting events throughout their school years. Janet loved to cook and even with busy schedules, she always made time to enjoy dinner with her husband and children.

The family would like to thank Janet's caregivers and nurses for their exceptional service, friendship, and love. They made her comfortable and smile right to the end.
