Janetgail Lee, a woman with an adventurous spirit and deep love for her family, passed peacefully on February 17th at 11:16 am in Edgewater, Florida. Born on April 24, 1935, to John Smith Reichart and Yvonne Fern Heckathorn in Butler, PA. Janetgail’s life was defined by a curiosity that took her across the globe.
After graduating from Washington High School in 1953 and attending Kings College, Janetgail embarked on a pioneering career as an Airline Hostess. Launching a lifelong passion, spending many distinguished years with United Airlines during the golden age of aviation.
Wherever she laid her roots or spread her wings, Janetgail formed deep and lasting friendships which remained one of the most meaningful parts of her life. She loved her family and friends deeply, and the happy memories they shared meant the world to her.
Her legacy of strength and adventure lives on in her two sons, David Perkins and Douglas Perkins and four cherished grandchildren, Leah and Dean Perkins, and Christopher and Richard Fox, who will forever hold dear the stories of their time together filled with her unwavering love and laughter.
In accordance with her wishes, Janetgail will be honored through cremation. Her celebration of life details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
