Ms. Janice "Jan" M. Beck 10-26-1944 - 2-22-2026

Jan Beck, 81, passed away peacefully at Freedom Pointe, The Villages, FL on 2-22-26. She was born in Watertown, NY to her parents, Jack and June Buchanan Beck. She graduated from Lyme Central School in Chaumont, NY and from SUNY Geneseo with a MA in Education. Jan moved to The Villages in 2009 from Rochester, NY, having retired from a 33-year career as an elementary school librarian in the Fairport, NY, Central School System. Jan was an avid reader, played Mar-Jong, and golf, once scoring a hole-in-one. She leaves behind several close friends in The Villages, a brother, William (Bill) Beck, and a sister, Peggy Bennett.

Her care and arrangements have been entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society and her remains will be buried in the family plot near Watertown, NY.
