Janice E. Bryant made her Heavenly journey during the early morning hours on July 9, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Joe, of Summerfield, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Clements, mother June Bauers, sister Cheryl Church, and nephew Dylan Church. She is survived by two brothers Ron (Vickie) Clements of Clinton, Indiana and Mike (Cheryl) Clements of Terre Haute, Indiana. She is also survived by stepdaughter Jennifer (Brad) Altherr of Fort Wayne, Indiana, step granddaughter Brittney (Joe) Binzinger, and three step great-grandchildren all of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She leaves behind numerous lifelong friends whom she made feel like family. Her deeply cherished friends reside all across the country, and they mourn her death.

She was a 1966 graduate of Wiley High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. She began her career with GTE (now Verizon) in 1967, and held numerous supervisory and managerial positions during her 30 plus years career. Her career legacy is she was a "tough but fair" supervisor.

Jan loved cooking and sharing food, fun, and fellowship with friends especially during the holidays. Her welcoming hospitality will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a role model for kindness, caring, and sharing.

On July 9 an angel touched her, she slept, and all who knew her wept. Final arrangements are being handled by Baldwin Funeral Home in The Villages, Florida. No memorial service has been scheduled at this time.
