Janice Elaine Cates Lamb

Born September 13, 1938 in Murfreesboro, TN

Died November 21, 2022  in Altamonte Springs, FL.  She was 84 years old.

Her family moved to Collegedale, TN when she was 9 where she made many life long friends.  Never being a fan of cold weather, in 1976, she

moved to Altamonte Springs, Fla.   She spent her remaining years

enjoying the "HEAT", working in her yard, growing numerous flowers and plants. Her family, friends, pets, yard and Facebook were things that brought her happiness.

Through Facebook, she kept in touch with many friends and family members – both close and extended – until just a very short time before her death.  Even when eyesight failed her, she enjoyed dictating posts and having comments read to her.  Each of you held a special place in her heart.

Her last memories will be visits from family, friends, neighbors and "Petie" (her constant companion for the last 13 years)  and Sherri holding her hand.

Jan is survived by: Her Daughters:  Vickey Davis (Wendell), and Sherri Greene

Granddaughters:  Tara Graham (Will),  Lisa Peters (Ben)

Great-grand Children: Michael and Alaina Graham, Camden, Ava and Maverick Peters

Her sister, June Webb (George)

3 Nephews, 2 Nieces and a large extended family

Sister – Reba Crutcher (Darrell)
