Jarred Scott Poole passed from death to life, corruptible to incorruptible on April 30, 2020. He was a believer in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and is with them today, as promised, in Heaven.

Jarred was born on June 1, 1995 in Daytona Beach, Florida. He spent his early years in Bunnell, Florida, with mom Debbie, and sisters Kristen and Kyra and Daytona Beach, with dad, George, brother James, sister Ilana and extended family and then came to live permanently in Daytona Beach.

He leaves behind his cherished daughter Everleigh, born December 22, 2018. His mom, Deborah Barrett, dad, George Poole, brothers, Geoffrey, Ian and James and sisters, Kristen, Ilana and Kyra. Nieces, Hailei, Niah, Iva, and Javiah, Nephews, Coby, Karter and Colton. Cousins, Nekia (sons, Mario & Nariq), Coleman (son, Bryson), Jesse and Jared (son, Jet). Aunts, Linda, Robin, Lisa and Chris. Uncles David and Jimmy and Grandad Jim (Papa). And a host of loving extended family.

Jarred is having a sweet reunion in heaven with grandmothers Easter, Judy (Memaw) and Barbara, Great Grandma Poole, M'dear. Grandad Johnnie and so many more who have gone on before.

Jarred had so many friends, young and old, too numerous to name, everyone loved Jarred. Most everyone except his family knew him as "Jay". One special friend since childhood is JJ. They spent some great times together recently, fishing on JJ's boat. Two other special friends since childhood are Trevor and Nate and their parents Bunky and Sue.

Jarred attended Old Kings and Longstreet Elementary schools, Campbell Middle and Mainland High School.

His passions were spending time with the light of his life, his baby daughter, Everleigh, visiting with family and friends, and of course, fishing and surfing.

He was a hard worker, got real dirty and learned many skills in the construction field. He liked to chew tobacco, listen to music, drink a little beer, eat beef jerky and at the end of the day, grill up some chicken or steak.

Like every one of us, Jarred had his struggles and victories, he wrestled hard with his adversary. He was so young and yet so honest and transparent about his struggle. He maintained many wonderful friends within the recovery community. Even so, some would judge or label him, but Jarred would not do so in return. He knew that every person had their own struggle they were dealing with. Matthew 7: 1-3 says:  "Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others. Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye?

Jarred was loving, kindhearted, forgiving, understanding, compassionate and never held a grudge. He was wise beyond his years in navigating human behavior. He was humble and not boastful, generous and always willing to lend a hand. He was our loving son, father, brother, nephew, uncle and dear, sweet friend.

Jarred had a million watt smile that would light up a room. Our beautiful boy, he left us way too soon. We have memories that will last forever, we will never forget you Jarred Poole, our "Golden Child". A piece of our hearts is missing, we will always treasure the short time we had together. Until we meet again, little Brother.
