Jason Jomo Gamal Jameson, known to many as James or Jomo, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 48.
Born on November 26, 1977, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Jason's life took him from the Caribbean to the United States, where he served in the United States Air Force. During his military service, he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant, beginning a career rooted in technical expertise and public service.
Following his time in the Air Force, Jason earned both a Master of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to build a career in procurement and government contracting within the aerospace and defense industry, where he was respected for his knowledge, analytical mindset, and ability to solve complex challenges.
Outside of work, Jason enjoyed cooking, trying good food, and making people laugh with his unmistakable sense of humor. He had a quick wit, a sharp personality, and an appreciation for sharing time with others.
Jason is survived by his daughters, Jada Jameson of New York, New York, Sienna Jameson of Dayton, Ohio, and Sanoe Jameson of Dayton, Ohio; his mother, Uelisia Hamilton of Grenada; his father, Stephen Jameson of Kissimmee, Florida; his sisters, Anika Jameson and Ayana Jameson of Kissimmee, Florida; his great-aunt, Maybel Mungin of Yonkers, New York; his cousins, Trisha Wallace of Yonkers, New York, and Patrick Wallace of Tampa, Florida, as well as extended family and friends.
