Jean "Jeannie" Cholister (DiPaola), age 81, of Leesburg, FL passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, surrounded by her daughters and loved ones. Born on March 23, 1944, Jean was the loving mother of Danielle Dougherty (Ken) of Florida and Joelle Feret (John) of New Jersey. Grandmother to Brielle, Arielle, Kayla (Victoria), and Krista.

Jean was the loving daughter of the late Ernest and Rose DiPaola. Jean was a dear sister to the late Rosalie Miller (the late Edward), Dolores DeLong (the late Bruce), Jo-Anne Conklin (the late Ronald), and brother Ernie. Jean was also survived by her former husband, Robert Cholister.

Jean was a lifelong resident of South Jersey until retiring as a receptionist and moving to Central Florida. Jean thoroughly enjoyed dancing, listening to music, shopping, movies, dining out and enjoying time at the Jersey shore. Jean had a passion for decorating and fashion. Jean attended weekly ballroom dances with friends within her community, Hawthorne, as well as many other local dances. Jean volunteered at the local church thrift store, where she established friendships and met some very nice people. Jean will always be remembered for being very easy going, fun loving, and always having a good time wherever she went.

A private service will be held to honor Jean.
