Doris "Jean" Rubin, a native of New Jersey was born July 16, 1925. She passed away peacefully at Hospice Care Center Edgewater December 16, 2011. She was preceded in death by a son Charles, her husband LeRoy six years ago, and brothers John Paul Haley and Paul B Haley. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother Thomas George and Patricia Haley, sister-in-law Catherine M Haley, niece Colleen and Jimmy Acord, nephew Brian P Haley, brother-in-law Morton and Fay Rubin, nephews Toby and Lorraine Rubin, Marshall and Kari Rubin, Mitchell and Adrianna Rubin and Glenn and Cindy Rubin. She was a longtime resident of New Smyrna Beach coming here from Dania, Florida. Private services will be held at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens.
