Jean Tomastek Sedlak (94), of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021. Jean was born on July 9, 1927, in Irvington, New Jersey to John and Helen Tomastek.

Jean excelled at work as an executive assistant for several large firms and had an exceptional calling from the world of Art. Upon retiring to Florida, she continued that love by becoming an award-winning artist specializing in watercolor paintings; well known in the Palm Coast Art associations. Also dabbling in the political world, she worked with others to establish Palm Coast as its own city.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Skip with whom she was a member of the Palm Coast Yacht Club for many years. She is survived by her nephew John Fischer, and her stepchildren; Richard Sedlak, Carl Sedlak, and Viisha Sedlak.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Jean will be held at 11:00am Thursday, October 14, 2021, with family and friends Gathering at 10:00am, and will be held at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
