Jean Elizabeth Fulton Wagg

October 12 ^th , 1952 – November 14 ^th , 2023

Jean Wagg, of Edgewater, Florida passed away on Tuesday November 14 ^th , 2023 at the age of 71.

Born in Meriden, Connecticut on October 12 ^th , 1952 to Robert Service and Margret Agnes Fulton (m. Parmentier). Jean was the oldest of four children and grew up in Meriden where she graduated from Mercy High School in 1970. After high school Jean married and had two children, Wendy and Jason.

In 1979, Jean relocated her family to Edgewater, Florida where she raised her children. Jean was a working professional and had many jobs throughout her life. As a young woman she was a waitress until she began her career with Cushman where she made life-long friends. Later, she moved her career to Boston Whaler Commercial Products where she worked for many years. Jean later got remarried to her current husband, Terry Wagg. She enjoyed her work life and took pride in her many accomplishments up until her retirement. Jean enjoyed an active lifestyle and gathering with family and friends as much as she could. She always had a special place in her heart for her cats and was an avid animal lover throughout her life. Jean was a passionate gardener, excellent cook, and spent many of her days enjoying the Florida coast with her family.

In her final days, she fought illness like a warrior with dignity, grace, and perseverance. She was a beautiful soul, whose love, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to know her. Throughout tough days, she always held a positive outlook on life. Jean was first to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to lend an ear to those in need. Jean's priority throughout her life was always her family, and her love for them surpassed all else.

Jean is survived by her husband Terry Wagg, her two children, Wendy Lewis (s. Michael Lewis Sr.), Jason Abrahamson, her grandchildren Carrie Lewis-Perez (s. Wilson Perez), and Michael Lewis Jr. Jean is also survived by her siblings Bruce Fulton (s. Kyle Fulton), Merideth Berthiaume, and Kathryn Bender (s. Eric Bender). Jean is predeceased by her father Robert Service Fulton and her mother Margret Agnes Fulton.

Jean's memorial service will be held on December 2 ^nd , 2023 at Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery at 2pm (700 S Ridgewood Ave, Edgewater, Florida 32132). The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Wagg residence (1610 Sabal Palm Dr, Edgewater, Florida 32132).
