Jeanne B. Gilbert, 83, passed away of natural causes on November 28, 2021, in Ocala, Florida.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Douglas R. Gilbert of Ocala, FL; her daughter, Cynthia Whelmsen of Enfield, CT; her son, James C. Gilbert of Winsted, CT. Jeanne is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence of Montpieler, VT; also, her two sisters, Bernadette & Sandra of Vermont & Florida.

Jeanne was born on February 2, 1938, to parents Florence and Bernard Bailey. She graduated from Montpieler High School in 1955 with a diploma in general studies. She married Douglas in 1959, they ended up having two children. Jeanne was a great Wife and a loving Mother, Grandmother, and a Great Grandmother. She was very much loved and will be missed.
