Jeannette Ann Ham-Carr, 74 of Avon Park and New Smyrna Beach died peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2014 with her family by her side.  Jeannette was one of 10 children born September 10, 1939 in Rumford, Maine to the late Catherine and Peter Roy.  Jeannette married Joseph Ham in 1954.  As an Air Force wife they traveled the world and lived in numerous military bases before settling in Avon Park.   Unfortunately, Mr. Ham died suddenly 1982.  Jeannette was fortunate to remarry John Carr in 1983.  Together they enjoyed golfing and going to the casinos.  She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren.  Jeannette was preceded in death by her daughter, Deloris "Dee Dee" Berlin, second husband, John Carr and grandson, Christopher Lee Harris.  She is survived by her children, Joyce (John) Hlavacek, Catherine (Ray) Roberson and Joseph (Diane) Ham; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and five siblings.  Private services will be held at the Bougainvillea Cemetery, Avon Park, FL.
