Jeannie Fitzsimmons, 71, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026 from MRSA complications with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 1, 1954 in Newport News, Virginia. She married her second husband, Tony Fitzsimmons on November 24, 1989.

She graduated from Chipola Jr. College on June 18, 1998 with an LPN license. She was a nurse for roughly 20 years and was a business co-owner for 16 years.

She had many happy years with her family. She loved going to the beach and tanning with her tanning lotion and owning as many cats as possible without being called a cat lady. She was a slick UNO and Battleship player, and could cross-stitch the most intricate designs.

She is survived by her three daughters, Katie Fitzsimmons (husband Nikhil Bastikar), Rachael Lumpkin (husband Brett Norvig), Amy Lumpkin, his brother Michael Fitzsimmons (wife Margie Fitzsimmons), and grandchildren Abigail, Blake, Dylan, Christian, Madelynn, and Andrew.

You will be forever in our hearts and dreams, and we miss you dearly. Your funny spirit and wild nature will be missed dearly from all. We will love you forever and are glad you can be with Tony now.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 1-3 p.m. at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, located at 1654 N. Semoran Blvd. Orlando, Florida, 32807. Flowers may be sent to the location of the funeral.
