It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Jeffery David Elias, age 47, of Port Charlotte, Florida. Jeff left this earth on May 19, 2022, surrounded by family.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife Lauren Elias and 6 children, Madison Elias, Jeffery Elias Jr., Johnathan Elias, Joshua Elias, David Dermer III, and Kaitlyn Dermer from his blended family. He is also survived by his Mother Paulette Stilson of Englewood, his sister Christine Elias of North Port and his brother John Elias of Port Charlotte. Jeff was preceded in death by his father John Elias Sr. of Port Charlotte.

Jeff was born in Lincoln, Illinois and grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida, where he attended Port Charlotte High School. Jeff was proud of his work as a plasterer and enjoyed fishing and playing guitar. Jeff may have had some struggles but loved his family immensely.

His passing will forever leave a hole in out hearts, but our family is grateful to know that Jeff is finally at peace and appreciative of the love and support provided by the Tidewell Hospice family. A celebration of life will be held with family and close friends at a date to be announced.
