Obituary

Jeffrey William Bratton, 64, of North Port, FL earned his angel wings peacefully June 13, 2026, after battling many health complications the last two years, he is now pain free. Born May 13, 1962, in Philadelphia, PA to Barbara Bratton of Venice, FL and the late William E. Bratton, he was the husband of Jodee L. (Miller) Bratton.

Relocating from Cochranville, PA to Florida after retiring as a triaxle owner-operator hauling for Allan Myers Paradise quarry, Jeff lived life to the fullest through boating on Sassafrass River and the Chesapeake Bay to welcoming anyone and everyone to his "shop". Jeff was happiest when surrounded by family and countless friends, especially at the boat, the beach, or any warm location. In fact, he preferred it so warm that visitors dressed in tshirts in the winter.

Jeff was the most unselfish person, always thinking of others ensuring they were comfortable, had a drink in hand, and offered fatherly advice to the younger generation. He adored his four-legged kids over the years and accepted his wife's crazy behavior rescuing all types of critters to the point he applied his handyman skills building shelter homes and ramps.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers Alan (Carolyn) and Greg (Sue); nephews Dan (Morgan), Justin and Wyatt; nieces Krissy and Samantha (Jim); Uncle Jim (Wendy) who was like an older brother to him.

Jeff's celebration of life will be held in Pennsylvania and announced at a later time.
