Jeffrey Allen Knox, 44 of New Smyrna Beach died Tuesday, May 8, 2012.  Jeff was born June 16, 1967 in Sanford, Maine to the late Ruth Ann and Harvey Knox.  He served his country with the United States Marine Corp as a Corporal from 1991 – 1999 and received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service.  After he was honorable discharged he settled in New Smyrna Beach.  Jeff enjoyed the ocean, scuba diving, fishing and anything out on the water.  He was an avid Florida Gators fan.  When Jeff became ill his good friend, Margaret Nelson cared for him.  He is survived by Margaret Nelson and many other close friends.  A life celebration will be held 7PM, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1 N.
