Jennie Elizabeth Morris of New Smyrna Beach Florida passed away in her home on January 18, 2019. She was born in Forrest City Arkansas on October 29, 1931. She and her family moved to Michigan from Arkansas in 1953 for employment opportunities. She worked in the banking industry most of her working career and retired in early 1990's.  Afterwards,she and her husband Darrel moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They enjoyed their life and activities living in the place that they both loved. Jennie enjoyed reading a number of newspapers to keep up with current events every morning with a cup of coffee and gazing out the kitchen window to watch all the birds at the feeder. She loved having her family visit and spend time together and share that cup of coffee every morning with those visitors.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darrel Morris, her mother Mattie Stout, step-father Edward Stout, father Lewis Webb and two brothers Ruben and Buddy Webb.

She leaves behind children Linda Bauldry and husband John Bauldry of New Smyrna Beach Florida, Greg Morris and wife Mary Beth Morris of Northville Michigan, Linda Riddle and husband Bob Riddle of Milford Michigan and Doug Morris and wife Rose Morris of Mt. Morris Michigan. She leaves behind her sister Sue Duda and husband George Duda of Austin Texas. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

We want to thank Home Instead for all of the wonderful caregivers that cared for Mom and Kindred Hospice for their compassion and care. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Kindred Hospice of Daytona Beach. Memorial Service and burial will be at a later date at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
