Jenny M Hanson, 89, of Port Orange passed away Friday, May 13, 2011.  She was born on January 1, 1922 in Glens Falls, New York to Leon and Valeria Synfelt. Jenny enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, going to the Drive-In Christian Church.  Her favorite times were being surrounded by her loving family.  She loved to cook and bake for her family.  Her legacy will continue through her family in many loving ways. One which will be by the many wonderful handwritten recipes she has shared with her family. Survived by; Daughter, Valerie (Marc) Bourque; son, Roy Hanson; daughter, Sharon McKelvey; grandchildren, Eddie (Stephanie) Owens III, Tammy Hanson, Henry McKelvey III.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Valeria Synfelt and her favorite companion Boomer.   A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:00am at Hospice of Volusia Flagler Port Orange Chapel, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL.
