Jerrold B. Hutchings was born March 10,1943 to Aimel and Francis Hutchings in Hastings, Nebraska. He grew up in Shawnee, Kansas with his brother Don Hutchings and sister Brenda DeFlores and Graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1961. He went straight to work for Union Pacific Railroad out of high school. He worked for the Railroad for 43 years before retiring from being a conductor. He said goodbye to his home in Shawnee, Kansas after retirement and traveled with his wife in their RV for 5 years before becoming full time residents at the Groves RV Resort in Fort Myers in 2009. Jerry went peacefully at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Fl. on September 2, 2018 with family by his side. He was a Saint to all that knew him. He was a Beloved husband of 30 years to Mary S. Hutchings. A loving Father to 3 children Michael Hutchings, Julie Baxter and his late son Timothy Hutchings that passed in 1995. An amazing Step-Father to Mary's 3 daughters. Lisa Beach, Jennifer Wake and Andrea Benthusen. A wonderful Grandfather to 12 grandchildren. Julie's daughters Jessica and Amanda. Lisa's children Max, Bailee and Phaedra. Jennifer's children Mya, William, Trinity and Elizabeth. Andrea's children Timothy, Hailie and Natalie. He will be missed Greatly but a Saint is never forgotten.
