In Loving Memory of Jesse James Metzner

(March 29, 1978 – September 16, 2022)

On September 16, 2022, Jesse James Metzner of Ocala, Florida, passed away at the age of 44.  Jesse is survived by his father, Mark Metzner and his wife Kathleen (Blaies) Metzner, and his mother Kathleen (Stencil) Krueger and her husband Steven Krueger.  He is also survived by his brothers Jason Metzner and Nicholaus Metzner.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harold and Marjorie Metzner and maternal grandparents Raymond and Marie Stencil.

Jesse was born on March 29, 1978, in Green Bay, Wisconsin and lived most of his life in the Wisconsin area.  Jesse came from a large, loving family of many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish the happy times that they shared.

When in New Richmond, Wisconsin, Jesse enjoyed spending time with a friend on a round of golf.  He loved spending time on the water and beaches, whether it be the Bay of Green Bay, or lakes and waters of Wisconsin and Minnesota.  Unfortunately, he never had the opportunity to see the beaches of Florida.  He had a very generous heart, if he came across a homeless person and only had one dollar himself, he would not hesitate to offer it.  Jesse had a contagious smile and was gifted with the ability to lift others spirits when they were down.

A private memorial service for family and friends will be held in Ocala, FL.
