Jessie Bears Halpin 89, of Ossipee NH , formerly of Lynn, and Stoneham MA, went to be with the lord on February 2, 2019, she will be missed by all who knew her. Jessie was born on November 17, 1929 to Murdock Bruce Bears and Annabelle Macpherson Bears. During her life she was an avid knitter. She loved genealogy and was a member of The New England Genealogy Society and also The Mayflower Society of Maine. Jessie is survived by her daughters, Judith Rich of Florida, Jane (Joel) Smith of NH and Sheila (William) Woods of NH, and a daughter in law Kathy Halpin of Virginia. She is also survived by a sister Carol (Richard) Kendrick, a brother Paul (Janet) Bears, and another sister Annabelle Cashell. Jessie also has 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also has several nieces and nephews. Jessie was predeceased by her loving husband Donald, her son Thomas E Halpin, a brother Isaac Bruce Bears and a sister Helen Hayes. Family will be holding a service and celebration of life at a later date.
