It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather Jimmy D. Greene Sr., who passed away peacefully at his home in Ormond Beach, Florida on February 23 ^rd , 2024, at the age of 79. He was very loved and will be missed terribly.

Jimmy was born in 1944 in Johnson City Tennessee, the son of Ephraim and Essie Greene. He moved to Florida in the early 1960's and was a proud US Army Veteran, Member of VFW Post 1590, and American Legion Post 120.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Joyce Greene, his son Jimmy Greene Jr. and wife Jackie, daughter Shari Flowers and husband Frank, 5 grandchildren, Frankie Flowers, Matthew Flowers, Crystal Tolson, Maya Greene, and Hannah Greene, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Jasper Flowers and Lani Dalou, as well as his beloved dog GiGi.

His Funeral Service will be held Thursday March 7th at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1185 West Granada Blvd #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174 at 11:00am with Visitation starting at 10:00am.

The Funeral Reception will continue immediately after the service at VFW Post 1590 1013 Veterans Ct Daytona Beach 32114.
