Joan Mary Brennan of Ormond Beach, FL passed away after a brief illness on April 11th, with her family by her side. A long-time resident of Florida, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Gertrude Brennan of South Attleboro, MA.

Joan was an independent woman who enjoyed reading, puzzles, and her part time job at a local thrift store. She was a frequent and generous supporter of animal welfare charities and treasured the companionship of her miniature dachshund Sophie and her cat Alice.

Joan is survived by her three children, Donna Allcock of Johnston, RI, Timothy Alcott of Odenton, MD, and Jeffrey Allcock of Providence, RI, by a grand-daughter, Syra Allcock of Pawtucket, RI, two great grand-daughters, Maddison and Amber, also of Pawtucket, and by her five siblings, Vincent Brennan Jr. of North Attleboro, MA, Patricia Doyle of Myrtle Beach, SC, Carol Brennan of Plano, TX, Kenneth Brennan of Georges Mills, NH, and Diane Mangiarotti of Attleboro, MA.
