Joan Gerardino was born in Brooklyn, New York, and passed away in Tavares, Florida. In 1976, she married her soulmate, George Gerardino, and they shared a beautiful partnership until his passing in 2016. She cherished their time together and found comfort in the belief that they have been reunited.

Joan appreciated the simple pleasures in life, including boating, reading, swimming, caring for her cats, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family. Her family was the center of her life, and she consistently demonstrated how deeply she loved them.

A devoted wife, mother, and nana, Joan was known for her faith, kindness, selflessness, and unconditional love. She touched many lives with her compassionate spirit and generosity. Joan was an active member of Lifepointe Church in Eustis, Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gerardino-Johnson; son-in-law, Clifford Johnson; granddaughter, Kayla Johnson; sons, Kris Byrne, Paul Byrne, and Eric Byrne; and stepchildren, Theresa Bellman, Marie Treubig, and Diane Gerardino. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Gerardino.
