Joan King passed away on Monday June 17, 2019 following a 6-month battle with brain cancer.  She was born in Worcester, MA to Robert King and Anna Cormier (both deceased).  She has a brothers Robert (Butch) King Deceased, a sister, Elizabeth White and sister-in-law Angel King and several nieces and nephews.  Joan graduated in 1963 from Commerce High, Worcester, MA and worked at UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester, MA for 44 years.  After retiring, she decided to move to Florida to be with her dear friends Karen and Alan Critzer.  Soon, Joan was quickly adopted by the Critzer family and became aunt to more nephews and nieces and their families!  Joan loved the fur animals…Pepe and Mochita!   She loved driving her Corvette, shopping at Bealls, collecting sea glass along the east and west coast of Florida.  Joan was fun-loving, and a private person also.  She will be greatly missed by those of us who love her!  Services will be private, and donations can be made in Joan's name to: Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral, FL 33909.  CANCER SUCKS!
