Florida, passed peacefully on August 11, 2022.  Joan was born in Baltimore Maryland, daughter of Frederick and Bertha Snyder.  She was raised in Maryland where she graduated from Garrison High School and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Music was important to her, and she was a talented vocalist.  She performed in the Hippadrome Theater, appeared in many talent shows on TV and was a member of the Collegian Club.

In 1970 Joan married the love of her life, Pat Kuhn.  They enjoyed a very active social life, hosting and attending many parties and travelling with the Silver Leaf Pleasure Club.  She had many friends and was still in close touch with many from her childhood. Although she never had any children of her own, she loved children and was close to all her nieces and nephews. She has been a resident of Florida since 2012. Joan especially  loved all our family gatherings, whether it be a holiday or just a back yard gathering to have a crab feast.

Joan was predeceased by her parents and her husband Pat. Left to cherish her memory is her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Linda Snyder of Tavares, Fl.  and many cherished nieces and nephews, Grand and greats alike.
