Joan Pearsall (Joni) of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 27th at the age of 67. Joni was born in Glen Cove, NY on November 11th, 1955, to Joan and Eugene Picaut.

Joni grew up in East Islip, NY and spent time in New Jersey and Virginia before planting her roots in Ormond Beach, Florida. Joni loved the Beatles, especially Paul McCartney, the beach, animals, and her favorite place Disney World. She loved going to Disney with her cousins Kathy, Nancy, and Susan.

Joni was preceded in death by her father Eugene Picaut, and grandparents Alice and William Dein. She is survived by her children Jeni Pearsall (Johnny) and Chris Pearsall (Taylor), mother Joan Picaut (Des), siblings Gene Picaut (Vicki), Bill Picaut, and Jackie Picaut-Tugwell, niece Jill Bosang (Matt), nephews Nick Picaut (Lauren), Luke Tugwell and Blake Tugwell, ex-husband Ted Pearsall along with many extended family members. Joni also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Riley and Luna.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 4-7pm at the Anderson-Price Memorial Building, 42 N. Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida.
