Joan was born in Irvington, NJ. She came here in 1971 from Goshen, NY. She was a Registered Nurse having graduated from St Joseph Hospital in Elmira NY. She was a veteran of the US Navy and also served at St Mary's Hospital West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Medical Center and as hospital supervisor at Highland Medical Center in Sebring FL. She was a communicant at Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach. Survivors include children Mary Ann Collins, Paula Gill, Fred Pfeiffer, six grandchildren several two great grandchilden.
