Joan R. Scholl, 84, passed away March 19, 2018 at the Hospice Legacy House in Ocala, Florida. Joan was born March 10, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Mary Scholl. Joan attended Beloit College in Wisconsin and worked for over 40 years in Chicago in the field of Advertising. Through hard work and persistence, she rose to the level of Media Director for several major advertising agencies.

Joan moved to the Oak Run community in Ocala, Florida in 2000. She loved her pets and enjoyed golfing, bridge, cooking, and entertaining. She had no survivors but had many friends who helped her in her courageous battle with cancer.

Joan is to be cremated and her ashes will be buried in the family plot in Chicago. No public memorial services will be offered in Florida, but those wishing to honor Joan can do so by making a donation to the Humane Society of Marion County or to the Hospice of Marion County.
