Joanne Marion
Pinzone
Aug 31, 1950 — Sep 30, 2026
Venice, FL
Joanne passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 31, 1950, in the Bronx, NY, Joanne lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to those she held dear.
Joanne was the beloved daughter of Yolanda and Michael Melfa, who predeceased her, as did her first husband, John Muller. She leaves behind her devoted spouse, Anthony Pinzone, and a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy lives on through her children, Monica Pacheco Muller and her husband Ernesto, and Zachariah Muller. Grandchildren, Blanca Neal and her husband Louis, Laura Pacheco Muller, Peyton Pacheco Muller, and Zerenity Muller, as well as her great-grandchild, Lucas Neal. Joanne is also survived by her brothers, Michael and his wife Linda, John and his wife Elena, and sisters Debra and Lori with her husband Mario. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joanne worked in so many fields in her life but what she loved to speak about the most was her time as an estate manager at the Guccione’s summer estate, and then in her later years at Wings and Just Hats. She was known as the dancing hat lady.
Joanne loved her parrots, music and her convertibles. For more than 30 years she owned Cockatoos or African Grey’s in her home among many others. She was known to drive with the tops down and her music blasting, but most of all, her crazy hats and toe socks with flip flops. Joanne could always be found moving or dancing, filling every room with her presence. She was never at a loss for words, often engaging in lively conversations and sharing her favorite stories with those around her.
The family would like to share a special message, offering comfort and hope: "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." — 1 Peter 5:10
