Joanne Saunders, 62 of The Villages passed away January 21, 2023, after a long battle against cancer. Joanne was born December 3, 1960 in the Bronx, NY. She was lucky enough to have met the love of her life, Barney Saunders, III at the age of 13. After marrying at 21, Joanne and Barney went on to have two children, Barney D Saunders IV and Craig Frederick Saunders. She also had her two beloved dogs, Abby and Izzy.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her love ones; either on a fun motorcycle ride, enjoying the outdoors kayaking or just sitting down for a glass of wine chatting. She love to golf but as long as her water bottle had a bit of vodka. Joanne's light was contagious, making such a beautiful impact on all the lives she touched to know her is to love her.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband Barney Saunders, III, children, Barney D. Saunders, IV and Craig Frederick Saunders; grandchild Jack Saunders, three sisters; Teresa Southerland, Linda Slater, Laura Ricardo, closest friends; Paula Quinlan, Deborah Bucciero, Irene Bissett, Nancy Budovsky with many more wonderful dear friends.
