Joe Louis Cook, age 73, of Reidsville North Carolina, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was a graduate of Booker T Washington High School and attended Rockingham Community College. Joe retired from Hershey Food corporation. Joe was an Jehovah Witness and was a current member of the DeLand Florida Congregation. He loved attending his Christian meetings, sharing Bible Truths, gardening, spending time with family and friends aka "The Neighborhood Dad" and everyone knows he loved running. Joe, was preceded in death by his parents Percy Lee Cook Sr. and Mary Sue Harris Cook. Brothers: Percy Lee Cook Jr., Larry Cook. Sisters: Mary Louise Cook, Geraldine Pass and Lillie Neal. Leaving his wife Cynthia of 53 years 4 children: Kevin Cook (Andrea), Kraig Cook (Pamela), Kenyon Smith (Joseph) and Kendell Cook, who passed suddenly 7 days after his father on May 22,2021 and 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Leaving sisters: Gwendolyn Harrison (Chester Sr.), Denise Cook, Darlene Bass (Michael) Brother: Reginald Cook (Jasmine) and A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
