Joetta Carol Reeder, age 83, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

Born June 9, 1943 in Montgomery, WV, she was the youngest child of Leslie and Zelpha Howard. After graduating high school from Fayetteville, WV in 1961, she met the love of her life on January 7, 1962. Joetta built a career as a retail sales associate, but she was primarily a homemaker who dedicated her entire life to her family. She loved spending time at the beach with family and friends. Her spirit and love of life will forever be remembered by so many who knew her.

Joetta is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George; her children, Michael (Christine) of St. Augustine, FL, Beverly (William) of Mount Vernon, OH, and John (Margarita) of Coatesville, PA; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Zelpha; her sister, Patricia; and her brother, Dewain.

Joetta's family will be hosting a future memorial service for her with details to be determined. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Joetta's honor to Empath Hospice of Pinellas County, Florida.
