John Ballas, 92, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  John was born in Peabody, Massachsetts to James and Mary Ballas.  John was a US Army Veteran, Master SGT, having served in WWII and Korea, including time at the Chosin Reservoir.  He later finished his Accounting Degree and became a CPA, opening his own firm in Orlando, FL.  John enjoyed skiing and golfing.  He is survived by 3 sons; Peter Ballas, Bruce Ballas, and Brian and wife Carol Ballas, 3 grandchildren; Thomas, Christopher, and Brian T. Ballas.

John will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with US Army military honors.  Date and time will be announced.  Memorials can be made to your local or favorite Hospice organization.
